6 Denim Styles You Must Have in Your Closet
The quote normally goes; “A woman can never have too many shoes,” but we think a woman can never have too many pairs of denim! Denim should be a staple in every woman’s wardrobe-no matter what the upcoming trends or seasons.
Your closet should have at least 6 different styles of denim. I am sure you have about 3 of these styles already as a part of your wardrobe, but no pair of denim is made or styled alike and you need some more choices so take note!
1. Boyfriend Jean – Current/Elliot
A boyfriend jean should be your go-to relax fit jean. Add a fitted blazer and a chunky heel to add a contrast of femininity.
2. Black Denim Skinny – MiH
Black skinny, my favorite. A black (or darker wash) skinny is the denim you can dress up more than any other style. When all else fails…wear black.
3. Rolled Skinny – Current/Elliot
A rolled skinny gives you the relax look of a boyfriend fit, but allows you to show off your curves. The rolled cuffs draws attention to any shoe you choose to style with.
4. High-rise Flare – MiH
A high-rise flare is a classic style that elongates your legs and puts some pep in your step. Add a chunky boot for 70s inspiration or a pointy toe heel to dress it up even more. A fitted top should be your go to pairing.
5. Print/Stich – Maison Scotch
A printed denim is probably the one pair of denim that not a lot of you have considered purchasing or have in your closet yet. Wearing denim with some stitched or printed pizazz allows you to add personality to an expected pair of pants. Style with a basic tee and a statement necklace for an understated sophistication.
6. Ankle Cut Skinny – MiH
Last, but not least a simple ankle cut skinny. This is a versatile pair of denim that you can pair with boots, heels, flats or sandals. The length and style allows you to have versatility without shortening the length of your silhouette.
