THREAD is a carefully curated lifestyle boutique that brings a big city mindset to the midwest fashion oasis of Columbus, Ohio. 

Owner Miranda Boyle possessed a love of fashion from an early age, partly due to the influence of her stylish grandmother who, in Miranda’s words, “never wore the same outfit twice”. Miranda spent years in retail at big and small businesses, and as her career was blossoming, her family began to blossom as well. She made the choice to stay at home, but the spark for the worlds of retail and fashion never diminished. After 10 years at home with her kids and husband, she felt the itch to get back into the beloved field that she stepped away from a decade prior.

THREAD is the culmination of Miranda’s dream.

It’s the result of influences that range from vintage bohemian and minimalist fashion, to her sister (who first encouraged her to open a store), to the designers that Miranda cultivates relationships with. Reflecting Miranda’s own origins and the aesthetics of the brands that THREAD carries, the store is carefully curated in a way that brings a contemporary look and feel with industrial accents and clean, modern lines that mingle with rustic wood and homey touches. The store itself reflects both the heart and mission of THREAD: to build community through the shared love of and mutual interest in fashion, while remaining accessible and accommodating.

THREAD carries brands that no one in the midwest has.

THREAD engages in collaborations with big names in the fashion world, and serves as a designer “incubator”, carrying lines that may only be in their first season. It is the exclusivity of the products we carry mixed with our midwest sensibility that puts THREAD a head above the rest, and we’re one of the few places in the country that you’ll be able to pick something up and say to a friend, years later, “I had this before the designer got huge.”

Pay and Pick up in store- 

We are able to offer this option to Pay and Pick up in store. You will get an email or phone confirmation if you have chosen to purchase with this option. 

Item availability - 

All of our orders are fulfilled through our retail locations and are processed on a first come, first served basis. The item is only reserved once your purchase is completed in the checkout. If an item is very popular, it might be available when you place it in your shopping bag, but sold out once you reach the checkout or received by the store. You will be notified immediately if this situation happens. 

Tracking - 

All domestic and international orders will be shipped via the most economical way.  A tracking number will be emailed to you once the shipment has been dispatched.

Refused Shipments

Should you decide to refuse any shipments from THREAD,  you will be responsible for the original shipping charges and cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.


Possible Delays

International orders once reaching their destination may be subject to some customs clearance procedures. The customer is responsible for import duties and taxes on their international order. Should you have any issues or concerns, please contact your local customs agent for additional information. Additionally, we cannot accept international orders whose billing and shipping information do not match for security purposes. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience.

We currently cannot accept returns for international sales. All international sales are FINAL.

Returns and Exchanges

We work hard to curate the collection featured both in our stores and online and we hope you find everything you are looking for and more. We stand behind the products we offer and want you to be thrilled with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we gladly accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions.

Returns

Once your order has been processed, we will email you with shipment tracking information. We gladly accept returns or exchanges if you contact us within 72 hours of receiving your order to request a Return Authorization number (RA#). Email us at info@shopthreadonline.com or call us at 614-481-3090 with the reason for the return/exchange and you will be issued a RA#. Customers are responsible for any return shipping charges. Item(s) must be packaged and postmarked within 5 days of when the RA# is issued. Please send packages through a courier with tracking capabilities.

Return Conditions

In order to be eligible for return, items must be returned with the original sales receipt, and in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, and with all original tags attached. Some items ship with an additional attached return tag. Merchandise returned without the original return tag attached may not qualify for a refund. Footwear must include the original shoe box, in its original condition. (You may NOT use the original shoe boxes to ship footwear. Shoes and their original shoe boxes must be shipped within a larger box.) If any of these requirements are not met, we are not able to process your return, and the item(s) will be shipped back to you at your expense.

Should your item(s) have a defect or damage, you must email us at info@shopthreadonline.com within 24 hours of receiving your order. 

Items ordered with Free Shipping are still eligible for a refund, less the actual cost of shipping. 

All sales are FINAL on sale merchandise.

Tips for keeping items in returnable condition

SHOES- Always try on shoes on carpet, as shoes scuff very easily on any hard surface. Shoe boxes are an important part of the product presentation, therefore, shoes must be returned in their original box, free of damages and shipping labels.

SWIMWEAR & LINGERIE- Please try on over underwear for sanitary reasons. Do not remove the protective slip.

TOPS & DRESSES- Please be careful of makeup or deodorant rubbing off on the garment.

Exchanges

All of our orders are fulfilled through our retail locations and are processed on a first come, first served basis. Therefore, if you would like to exchange an item, we suggest that you place a new order for the item you want before returning your original purchase to ensure that we have it in stock. Upon receipt of your return, we will process the return and issue a credit for the newly selected merchandise. We will then ship your exchange and notify you via email. 

As an additional convenience for our local customers, we are happy to process returns or exchanges for your online purchase at our flagship Grandview store.  Any return or exchange will be given in compliance with our current online return policy.

Your credit card information and personal information is safe. Protecting your information is our highest priority. All orders are transmitted over secure internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology.
