Why the Wishbone?
The tradition dates back to 700 BC when the Etruscans believed birds could tell the future—saving the wishbone for good fortune. The Romans carried the superstition forward, but due to a chicken shortage, they began breaking wishbones in half to share the luck. The British adopted the tradition, and later brought it to America—where wild turkeys were plentiful and the wishbone became a classic lucky charm.
A beautiful reminder: we believe you make your own luck… but a little sparkle never hurts.
